I have always loved unique pieces of jewelry and always make it a point to buy from a local artist wherever I travel. The commercially made products that are mass produced in China have never appealed to me. 

When I was introduced to Etsy a few years back, I got hooked and have bought everything from jewelry to bags and clothes from artists all over the world. It feels good to buy something handmade and one of a kind.

This started my passion for making something unique and handmade with my business. All of my jewelry is made from materials that are acquired locally or from smaller mom and pop type stores. In a way, my creations help these local merchants stay in business.

You may wonder how I come up with my product names?


Hot Lava Necklace

When making this necklace, I thought "wow look at the intensity of this red". The agate pieces reminds me of lava flowing from a volcano. The Jasper surrounding the agate, is how lava would look when combined with whatever it touches. Although, I have never seen a volcano erupt in real-life, I've been to the foot of many, mostly dormant. There is always a rush of adrenaline of knowing the possibilities of these sometimes unpredictable peaks.

I am a full-time student and wife.

Recently, I have gotten into handcrafting my own jewelry and with positive feedback from family and friends, I have started a small shop on Etsy showcasing my inspirations. My inspirations come from all the travelling that my husband and I have been lucky to experience.

When I first got out of high school, I went into college majoring in fashion merchandising. However, after failing miserably at sewing clothing I decided to pursue other things. I have always had a interest in fashion and feel like I have a keen eye for all things beautiful.
